About Us

The Kansas Culture Change Coalition is a group that provides support to long-term care organizations striving to develop systems that value the dignity of each individual who lives and works within their setting. It is an organization of diverse interest groups that combine their talents to effect change that is hard to do as individuals.
Our History
The Coalition had its inaugural meeting in September of 2004 where a group of providers, educational entities, state agencies and consultants came together to advance person centered care in Kansas. Since this meeting, the group has worked toward becoming a central clearinghouse of information for Kansas nursing homes interested in advancing or beginning the journey of culture change in their organizations.
Mission
The Kansas Culture Change Coalition promotes a culture that supports autonomy, dignity and diversity for Kansans as they age.
Vision
Life with dignity, purpose and choice thrives in all settings.
